Linwood Russell Berry, 79, of Roanoke Rapids passed away on Tuesday, April 28, 2015. He was the son of the late William Henry and Parlie Bell Rose Berry. He was preceded in death by his brother, Robert Berry and his nephew, Charles Berkley.

He was retired from Blue Flame where he worked for many years.

Linwood is survived by his sister, Maxine Berry Berkley of Roanoke Rapids; his cousin and caregiver, George ''G.B.'' Harris, and his wife, Eloise, and several other cousins.

Graveside services will be held on Friday, May 1, 2015 at 2:00 PM at Cedarwood Cemetery with Rev. Jeremy Kobernat officiating.
